Welcome to the Sarasota • Manatee Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators.

The Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) was founded in 1971 and is an international organization with members in more than twenty countries. The ALA mission is to improve and enhance the quality of management in all legal service organizations - ranging from large national firms to the sole practitioner. We all have similar issues, situations and educational requirements with which the ALA is ready to assist.

Our Sarasota • Manatee Chapter was formed in 1985 and currently has 25 members from the Sarasota, Bradenton and Venice areas. We have a very strong and continuing commitment from not only our Chapter members, but from our Business Partners as well. Because of each member's active participation and support, we work together to provide educational opportunities through National, Regional and Chapter Leadership conferences, monthly meetings, teleseminars and social events. We pride ourselves on being a group diverse in experiences, knowledge and individual talents and in our ability to collaboratively tackle issues that may arise for any and all of our members. We accomplish this through our monthly meetings, committees, email and our Members Only Portal where we have the ability to post questions and helpful responses.

Our Chapter has been, and continues to be, active in charitable community projects each year, including the support and assistance of underprivileged families during the holiday season. We donate our time, money and, more importantly, our unique talents and perspectives to each and every project we undertake.
